These joints have to be removed from the vehicle in order for the product "polymer" to be injected correctly.
If this process is not adhered to caster camber, toe in or out can be affected along with tyre wear and other suspension components will incur.
Step 1: Drill a hole into the joint til the drill bit meets the ball.
Step 2: Connect apparatus onto the said joint.
Step 3: Connect air line to apparatus and apply heat to apparatus till the polymer becomes liquid. Injection will now take place. While the injection process is happening it is of vital importance to move the ball in various directions to insure the polymer is filling gaps where the joint is worn and the ball is central in the sealed housing.
Step 4: Switch off heat and cool polymer till hard (+-30 sec) remove apparatus and re-drill hole back to the ball. A grease nipple will now be fitted so maintenance can be carried out every service as it used to be done in the past.
